Borderline Personality Disorder DBT

Donation protected
Hi,    My name is Cindy and I'm 51 years old.  I have recently been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder.  I have struggled my whole life keeping friends and jobs.   The doctors keep telling me I need DBT therapy.  Since I live in Massachusetts and McLean Hospital is the #1 hospital in the world to get treatment, that is where I want to go.

I'm disabled and have full insurance but they said it would not cover it all and I would need to pay 20- a day for the 14 day inpatient residential program at the Hill Center for Women.  This has put up a barrier for me to get treatment at McLean's.   It's such a small amount of money but to me on a limited income it's  a small fortune.

I've been told this therapy could be a life changer for me.  For many years now I have secluded myself because I feel uncomfortable around people.   It's like solitary confinement but self exiled.  I have severe anxiety around people due to a lifetime of reactions to my personality.  Emotional dysregulation is a big part of my disorder.  It drives people away in droves.  Makes me feel alien  and very unlike the rest of people in this world.

I really want to do this program, they say it will help  but I need financial assistance to cover the program.  Any help no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
