All because those shelters don’t have the resources to keep those souls alive for as long as it takes to find their forever home. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We can change that. We have to change that. My name is Sid, and my wife Christy and I are starting the world’s first liquor company dedicated to donating 100% of its profits to help save or improve the life of every single animal in need that we possibly can.

According to the Humane Society, that’s approximately how many healthy, adoptable dogs and cats were euthanized in 2017 in shelters all across America.
1.5 Million souls. That’s almost twice the population of the city of San Francisco. And more than the cities of San Diego or San Jose, or the island of Manhattan. And that’s just the ones we know about. No doubt countless more were abused, neglected or abandoned.
Why? Why couldn’t they be saved?
The answer is so simple. It’s money. There isn’t enough money and therefore resources for every shelter in the country to be a no-kill shelter. There isn’t enough money to roll out a nationwide educational campaign about the importance of spaying and neutering or adopting not shopping or ending puppy and kitty mills. Or to do the myriad other things we could to save lives if money wasn’t an issue.
Yet everyday there are good people with huge hearts trying to save these abandoned lives. Rescue organizations, foster parents, no-kill shelters, all working tirelessly to do what they can to stem the tide. Maybe you even know one of these wonderful hearts? If not, just do an instagram search using the word “rescue”. You’ll see what we mean. And you’ll also see, no matter which account you click on, that they always have something they need. Whether it’s food or beds or blankets or medicine or veterinary care. Every group always needs something. Basically, they need money to get the resources they need to save as many lives as they can.

That’s how much money we spent in America on Distilled Spirits (vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, etc), aka booze, in 2017. $26.22 BILLION.
The next time you’re at a bar, or restaurant, look around. See how many people have a drink in their hands. Walk down the liquor aisle at the store the next time you’re shopping for groceries. A lot of bottles there right? There should be. There’s a lot of money to be had in those bottles.
Now what if we could capture a fraction of that money? Just a small tiny percentage of those BILLIONS of dollars we spend every year. And then, what if we used that money we make to create a self-sustaining, self-renewing source of money and resources that could then be used by all of those shelters, rescues, and foster organizations out there trying to save animals from abuse, mistreatment, or an untimely death? What if all the wonderful people trying to save animal lives didn’t have to worry about having enough money to do what they needed to do? Can you imagine it? Ask your friend who rescues, fosters, or volunteers at the local shelter. We bet they can.
There are lots of problems that money can’t fix. Saving animals is not one of them.
That’s the idea behind this fundraiser. We’re starting the world’s first liquor company dedicated to DONATING 100% OF ITS PROFITS to help save and improve the life of every single animal we possibly can. We want to make it so that no shelter ever has to euthanize an animal ever again just because they don’t have the room or the money to keep that soul alive. We want to make it so that there’s always money available to save a furry life. We’ve already found an amazing distillery that has agreed to work with us to create the most delicious booze ever to grace a cocktail. We just need to raise the money to pay them, buy labels and bottles, then get those bottles to market.
So here’s what we’re asking:
Donate 5 bucks. Then ask a friend or two to do the same. That’s it. It’s that easy. Donate just 5 bucks and tell a friend. The more people we can reach the better. And pretty soon all those 5 bucks will add up to something so much bigger.
We know what we’re attempting is game changing. But we believe beyond any doubt that with your help, we can do it. All of us working together to make a difference.
