Help Send Books to Ethiopia

In September of 2016, I was one of a group of eight women, lead by Ras Abi, that embarked on an adventure to the glorious land of Ethiopia. This journey would change our lives forever.
There are just so many layers to this incredible story, I doubt I will ever be able to fully express the emotion connected to my experiences there, however, the connection our group made with the school children, teachers and administrators in Turmi is the purpose of this campaign.
We were welcomed with open arms and I, one of the two educators in our group, stood in awe of the teachers that skillfully managed classrooms of 75+ children.
The school children need books and other supplies, which we are committed to send to them. We are accepting donations of math and science books and are utilizing this campaign is to raise the funds needed to cover shipping costs. The school services children ages 5 through 17.
