Learn more about Books for Peace project

We asked the residents of Umakunda in Ramechhap district of Nepal what peace means to them. Most of their answers centred around the future of their children. Education is one of crucial factors in fulfilling this local peace aspiration. This is why Peace Perspectives is organizing a book drive for the benefit of Bamti village's elementary school in Umakunda.

You can help us reach our goal by donating here or send an offline donation (in cash or cheque). E-mail us at ppteam@peaceperspectives.org

Peace Perspectives is a Nepal-based research and community outreach organization. We collect definitions of peace from local communities to inform peace projects and activities. Visit www.peaceperspectives.org to learn more about our work.
