Bob Colwell's Medical Fund

Bob Colwell ( multi- instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and co-founder of the Boneheads) recently was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He underwent surgery on Sunday and will need further treatment to completely get rid of the tumor. At this point the prognosis is very good.
Bob is one of the few people around here, who earns his living completely from music. He operates a busy recording studio called "The Root Cellar" in Hallowell, and for the past 40 some odd years he has been steadily doing gigs around the state with various bands.
Since Bob is a working musician in Maine, there are no paid vacations or company health insurance for him. If he does not do the gigs for the next few weeks /months he will not be earning money to pay his bills.
I'm hoping that we, in his community, bond together to help him through this tough period. Any amount helps & will be appreciated. I'm sure it will help Bob recover if he is not worrying about paying the bills which keep coming! Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Bob & The Boneheads were scheduled to play at the Boothbay Opera House on Saturday Jan. 27th with the Holy Mackerels, and the Scotti River Trio. They will still do the gig without Bob, but the other Boneheads will be donating proceeds to Bob.
