In June 2016, Bob was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has also regretfully spread to his heart. Bob was in and out of the hospital for the majority of June while his Doctors were determining the extent of his condition. During that time, an emergency cardiac procedure was performed to drain 2 liters of cancerous fluid from around Bob's heart to save his life. Through the doctors regimen, help from the family and chemotherapy treatments, Bob is now able to care again for his 6 year old son Matt and on ocassion, work part time. His wife Teri has taken and continues to take a considerable amount of time off from her job to care for both Bob and Matt.
Over the past 20 years, Bob and Teri have dedicated their hearts and time to multiple charitable organizations and personal fundraising benefits. As you all know, both Bob and Teri are always the first ones to say “ how can we help” or "what can we do" when someone and their families are going through a difficult time. We as their family and friends wish to do the same for them!
Bob will continue to receive bi-monthly chemotherapy treatments. He will stay strong for his family. He will fight this with all that he has. While he is doing this, please let's help out Bob and his family with the extensive financial burden that comes with cancer.
