It is with a conglomeration of feelings that my family finds ourselves here again. Just a few years ago my little brother was diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. In that time we learned how many people we truly have in our corner loving, praying, supporting, and listening.
We find ourselves here again. This time it’s our Dad, Bob Noone. Dad has stage IV Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma. Dad’s tumor is behind his right nasal passage, behind his right eye, around and to the base of his skull. While the tumor is in an advanced stage, the team of doctors working with our family say “We will beat this.” As we walk down this road again there are feelings of trepidation but we’re simultaneously overwhelmed with hope.
My dad is a loving husband to my mom, an involved parent to all 6 of us, and a hard worker. Our lives are all better for knowing him, being raised by him, and learning from him.
There will be daily trips from Seneca Falls to Rochester for the next seven weeks.
Dad will not be able to work during this time, and the expenses keep adding up.
