Support for the Brooks Family

When a loved one is sick with a cold or the flu you find yourself doing whatever it takes to get them well. However, when they become sick with an incurable disease you become filled with fear and confusion. This is now what we- wife, son, daughter, and family- are now experiencing with OUR loved one, Wayne Brooks. Wayne has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that has also spread into his bones. He, of course, is in a great deal of pain.  Wayne is awaiting more medical procedures along with finding out the course of treatment.  However, because of the severity of the pain he has been out of work for quite some time. Although his wife Glenda-who is a cancer survivor herself- does work, it is not enough income to maintain the household plus accruing medical bills. 

I have found that in order to set this account up and ask for money one has to truly humble themselves.  Wayne never asked for money. He worked hard for every dollar he ever made, and many times he would do things for free. He is not beyond helping someone in need because that is who he is. Of course he may have a crazy sense of humor, he could possibly talk your ear off, and he may even have an unhealthy obsession with Elvis...but in the end he is one of the most unique individuals you will ever meet and will absolutely never forget. 

As a side note, the family has never done anything like this before.  We truly appreciate any donations and welcome all thoughts and prayers.
