BMX Girl Is Team USA
May 2015, at the tender age of 5, I began racing BMX. I quickly moved from novice to "Girl" (which is
classified as expert) by age 6. When training at my local track, Santa Clara PAL, I race expert boys who are 7-10 years old. Racing the faster boys has helped me improve my speed, strength and I'm more
competitive in 7G.
At the beginning of 2017 my parents gave me the choice to compete for a National plate or UCI World's. My goal was to qualify for UCI World in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
I am proud to say that in Redmond, Oregon on April 7, 2017 I achieved my goal!!! I took 2nd place in the qualifying races for the UCI World finals. I am extremely excited to represent USA in BMX racing!! This is a week long event July 23-30, 17.
UCI is the world cycling association for the Olympics. Racing at this event is the closest to the Olympics you can get. http://www.usabmx.com/site/sections/262
The estimated budget for racing this event is $5K, and I've already secured $1,500.
In honor of my beloved grandmother and to help find a cure, I will be donating any funds over $3500 to the ALS Association.
To show my gratitude for your donation, I plan to send my highest contributor an autographed USA Jersey and picture of me! I also plan to send an autographed picture to contributors of $100+.
Your donation will help me with the following:
* UCI Membership
* Entry Fee
* USA Jersey and Pants
* Airfare
* Hotel Stay
* Rental Car

I currently hold 5th place for 7G in all of California!

I met Barry Nobles before he raced at Rio Olympic Qualifier in 2016.
My grandma lost her 3 year battle with ALS. She wanted nothing more than to watch me race BMX.
