B.L.U.S.H www.blushnonprofit.org . is a 501c3 non profit organization in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our acronym is Beauty Lies Underneath Skin and within Hearts. We support teenage and young adult women who have encountered damaging obstacles in life. We seek to empower young women who feel the loss of value, self worth, as well as ambition and motivation. BLUSH provides support with life skills, child care assistance, team building and motivational skills while assisting in the discoverance of their self-value. We also increase compassion and developing self-love.
Our effort is to support young women who have little or no support, but are still fighting to find a way to achieve their goals despite the obstacles they encounter. Our goal is to mentor and partner with young women who are balancing life, while furthering their education. B.L.U.S.H empowers young ladies to visualize success to be the end result of their hard work and dedication.
B.L.U.S.H. is Hosting The Good Women, Great Lives Siminar as apart of the Positive You program. The Siminars will be highlighting successful women of the community in a positive image as well as empowering young ladies of the community to envision a higher self purpose. This event will be held on June 11, 2016. We need your support to make this event a success. No donation is to big or too small. Proceeds from this event will also be utilized to support the Positive "You" Siminars that BLUSH offers. These Siminars touch on life skills, mental and emotional health, motivation as well as guiding the young ladies to be able to manifest goals that are driving behind their passion and build strength to see them through regardless of obstacles that she encounters. This organization is dear to my heart because I was once a young woman without a support system as I journeyed through life and cared for my children while continuing my education. I know the struggle of Feeling alone in the world, working multiple jobs, and attending classes, all while keeping my children cared for and secure all while trying to learn to understand who I am. I made many mistakes along the way, but because of my faith, learning to forgive and love myself, and also the love for my children, I made it.
My story is the mission of B.L.U.S.H. and I ask for your support in bringing a new generation of young women into their full and untapped potential.
