Building rooms of wonder and creativity for children with life-threatening conditions.

Blueprints of Love is a non-profit 501(c)3, tax-deductible organization, designing rooms of wonder and creativity for children with life threatening illnesses. We are a 100% volunteer-based, Boston-founded and run organization. Each of our projects has the sole purpose of revitalizing a child's spirit and imagination while providing all the essentials for a healing space of their own.

Blueprints of Love works closely with each family starting with the parents and sometimes their doctors addressing medical needs and important medical design necessities and then with the child to create their ultimate dream bedroom together.

Blueprints of Love founder Melinda Cabanilla worked as a director for a similar cause for the last two years, and this philanthropic work inspired this owner of Mistura Interior Design to start her own non-profit organization unique to Boston. Her love of children, passion for design and urge to give back landed her with a need to create something unique here in Boston.

With your support, our dedicated team will make dreams come true for these very special children.

Visit us at https://www.facebook.com/blueprintsofloveboston for more information on our work, how you can get involved in our upcoming room or donate in-kind products and services.

Huge thanks to all of our supporters.

It's because of your generosity that our team is able to do what we do. We have a makeover coming up in early December for a little boy Jacob who's been going through a really rough battle. We're hoping that his new basketball-themed room will make him smile and create the personal, fun space he needs as he focuses on being well.

We gratefully thank you for your support, and wish you all the happiest of Thanksgivings!

We are honored and excited to begin working on our next makeover project for sweet little Kellsey and her family. This princess has a tough battle ahead of her. We love this picture of her snuggling with her baby brother who she lovingly calls "Mr. Cutes".
