In celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the Long Branch Free Public Library, Andrea Phox, a renowned local photographer, will photograph 100 women who either live or work in Long Branch. What better way to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Long Branch Public Free Library than to highlight 100 women who represent the fabric of our great city?
The exhibit will consist of a clothesline where the 100 black & white printed portraits will be hung by clothespins at the library through the months of November and December of 2016.
A brochure will accompany the exhibit so you may learn about each of the 100 women and why Long Branch is so important to them. The purpose of the exhibit is to not only showcase these intriguing women but bring together the community to celebrate the diversity of our amazing city by the sea. So won't you help us SHINE?!!
If your kind donation exceeds our budget, the monies will be donated to the Long Branch Public Library and180 Turning Lives Around which provides programs and services for domestic and sexual violence in our community.
Andrea Phox, a Master Photographer, Certified Professional Photographer and a 2015 Platinum Medalist has fifteen years of experience in the photography business. Prior to her opening her studio in 2001, Andrea was a union camera assistant in the film business for over twenty years.
