Burnsville Blaze Basketball

It is an exciting time to be in Burnsville.  Currently our school is in the midst of a major change.  We are transitioning to a 9-12 high school and a middle school model to improve the overall educational experience for our kids.  There has been tremendous support from our community and work done to expand and enhance our facilities.  However, there is one area that needs attention outside of this project, and it is our current competition gym.  This gym still shows remnants of the 1980’s with a limited number of baskets and old backboards that are not up to date with current high school league competition. 

 We have constructed a plan to improve the state of our gym.  Our booster clubs are attempting to add four new baskets to our gym and replace four outdated baskets with new goals. This entire project is going to cost $36,000.  Through efforts from our community and school organizations we have been able to raise $26,000 already.  However, we need to raise $10,000 in approximately 60 days to make this project happen.  We feel these changes are necessary to provide our student athletes with a great experience and one that will help them remain competitive with the surrounding schools.  We are asking you to consider making a donation of your choice to our cause.   Please remember this is a booster run fundraiser done by volunteers, and a tax ID # can be made available upon request to Burnsville High School.
