Blankets and Pillowcases for Texas

I never thought I’d create a GoFundMe page, but I want to help victims of Hurricane Harvey. I live near St. Louis so I wasn't touched by the hurricane, but my heart goes out to so many of those who were affected by its devastation.
My talent is sewing, and I love making pillowcases and tied fleece blankets. So that’s what I’m going to do! Imagine someone who has lost everything they own, and they are given a hand-made-with-love *original* pillowcase and blanket, all their very own.
Each pillowcase costs $10-$15 (depending on the current sales) and each blanket costs $20-$30. I figure I can make 30 pillowcases and 20 blankets by Christmas. I know it’s not much, but it’s what I’ll be able to do. This will cost around $1000. Will you help me reach my goal? If I get more than that, I’ll just make more! Here are some pictures of pillowcases and blankets that I’ve made in the past.
I plan to donate these to an organization that will make sure they get to those in need. I'll let you know when they're sent off to warm our friends in Texas! Thanks so much for your help! xoxo
