We are excited to hear about the success of the #BlackPantherChallenge around the country, which has sent thousands of inner-city youths to experience the magic and excellence of the movie "Black Panther". The P.R.O.C.E.S.S. Male Rites of Passage Program gladly accepts the challenge and wants to send 100 youths in Valley Stream, Elmont and Hempstead, New York to see "Black Panther".
The purpose of The P.R.O.C.E.S.S (Pupils Realizing Their Optimal Capacity through Excellence, Success, and Service) is to foster positive youth development and to prevent youth violence. We are holistically engaged with the well being of an individual as a whole. The P.R.O.C.E.S.S is all about forging creativity, empowerment, and introducing young men to their natural abilities. The P.R.O.C.E.S.S is known for keeping young men so engaged with hands-on innovative skills and arming them with tools for positive engagement, that they proudly take ownership of their own reality as they become beacons of their communities.
We will be providing transportation to and from the movie, snacks, and a private screening, followed by a roundtable discussion on the movie.
