#BlackPantherChallenge ASP

Hey fam,
Prior to my birthday earlier this year, I came across the #BlackPantherChallenge, an initiative inspired by Frederick T Joseph in Harlem, New York City, USA to raise funds for The Boys & Girls Club of Harlem. This fundraiser enabled underserved children, young people and their families to see this blockbuster film and have exposure to black representation and inclusion in the media - a theme of similar significance, particularly for Indigenous, African and people of colour in Central Australia.
I am requesting donations to hold a screening of “Black Panther” during the evening of Friday 16 March 2018 at Alice Springs Cinema. Tickets will be distributed to youth services in Alice Springs i.e. Gap Youth and Community Centre Aboriginal Corporation, NPYWC Youth Program, Anglicare Intensive Youth Support Service, Central Australian Youth Link Up Service and the Multicultural Community Services of Central Australia.
Any donations will help with covering costs including cinema hire, popcorn and drinks etc.
No donation is too small or too large. If we exceed the fundraising target, the donations will go towards Central Australian youth programs.
Hopefully this inspires you to join the global “moviement” and to contribute towards a positive opportunity for others.
