Today, we are harnessing your hustle and heart to stand up and give back to our friends and family members who need it most. Please donate today to support individuals who can’t rely on a steady paycheck from a full-time employer and who aren’t able to fall back on the benefits presented at traditional workplaces.
At blackfreelancer.com, we’re creating a space where talented Black individuals with a desire to forge their own entrepreneurial path can thrive. And while we’re connecting the dots between the right freelancers and clients, we can’t do it alone.
If you are a Black freelancer in need due to COVID-19 or other emergency situations, we invite you to drop your info into this simple [FORM]. With that information, we will send you a few hundred bucks to cover some of your bills this month.
We are kicking off the relief effort with $5,000, which we will grant to the first 20 entrepreneurs who fill out this form . From there, however, we need support from other generous donors to keep the funds flowing.
In order to do so, we are joining The Conscious Kid, Fred Joseph, and other #RENTRELIEF effort and here’s how it works:
1. If you are a Black freelancer and can’t make rent, have an unexpected bill, or are stuck because your contracts were abruptly terminated, lessened, or not renewed, drop your info, including your CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal into this simple [FORM].
2. We will maintain a fully documented accounting of where all funds are delivered and will feature grantees on our Instagram.
3. If you’d like to join us and help Black freelancers who are a few hundred dollars short on rent, groceries, or bills, donate to this GoFundMe campaign.
We are starting off the fund with $5,000. That’s enough for only 20 people who are $250 short.
Donate today and help us raise $25,000 so that we can help 100 Black freelancers through this challenging period.
**Funds raised will go directly to Black freelancers in need. They will also receive a hat to promote themselves on social media, and eventually at their favorite coffee shop or coworking space as a proud Black freelancer!**
