Black mold. Please Help!

Hello all! This is totally not something that we would EVER do because we usually try and figure things out and keep it private. However, that is not the case this time.
We pulled up a broken tile in our boys bathroom and there was black mold beneath it. It looks as though there was no waterproof anything put down and water was free to seep beneath it for last 8 years that we have lived here. We have no idea the extent of damage but we do know that the bathtub has to be pulled out and half the floor will have to be cut out and replaced. Not to mention there are specific guidlines per the state on how to remove black mold. One company we spoke to let us know that the health department may have to get involved and if so, we may not be able to stay in our home, or they will take the boys from us.
We have tried our home warranty company and were denied. The homeowners ins said they cant cover. We also applied for a grant from the state and we didnt qualify for that either. Our last resort (or so we thought) was to get a home equity loan, but that didnt pan out because we didnt meet the percentage requirement.
Now, this seems to be our last resort. Reaching out to family and friends asking for help so we can get this fixed as soon as possible so we dont lose our boys or home.
We have people coming to give us quotes but from what I have gathered it will cost anywhere from $4000 to $8000. Anything at all helps us reach our goal and we would be eternally grateful.
