Our Story
SubZero Robotics Team 5690 is a FIRST Robotics Team. We began our rookie year in 2015.  Having gained momentum in the off season between last year and now, we competed in the Lake Superior Regional at the DECC on March 3rd-5th.  By the end of day one of qualification matches, we were ranked first out of 63 teams in our regional.  We finished our regional qualification matches third out of 63 teams.  This resulted in SubZero being in the top eight teams.  The top eight each pick two other teams to continue to the playoff matches.  We were finalists after winning our quarter final and semi final rounds.  Two of the winning alliance teams won awards sending them to the world championships automatically leading us to take their "wildcard" spot.  We are so excited how far we have come in just two years!

Funding
As you may imagine, there is a financial need to bring our team to St. Louis, Missouri to experience this amazing opportunity.  Money raised will be allocated to bussing, hotels, and a number of meals during our time on the road.  The world championships are from April 27th-30th.

Experiences
Attending the world championships is an experience of a lifetime.  With over 600 teams from across the globe, we are certainly honored to be attending.  We ask for your support as we endeavor to St. Louis to compete.  Your support truly means everything to SubZero!  We will be accompanied by (not associated in this campaign) two other Northland teams in St. Louis: Duluth Denfeld DNA Robotics team 4009 and the Hermantown Talon Robotics team 5232.  Congratulations!
