Lucky was adopted by Sleeping Fox Farm Thoroughbred Rescue so that he can live out his life in peace and be in a loving home that he so deserves but he is suffering due to medical issues. We will need between $2500-$3000 to help treat his old leg injury with shockwaves and injections. Then between $1000-$2000 for removal of melanomas. We have tried conservative medical and pain medication treatments but they are not working as well as we hoped. Thus we need more extensive intervention for his leg and to keep
him comfortable in his life of happy retirement, plus we must remove his melanomas which are in dangerous locations before they impede on his overall health and longevity. He has been with us since May and we need help to ensure we can give him a happy and long deserved retirement.
He desperately needs medical treatment to live a comfortable life and this has put an incredible financial strain on the owners of Sleeping Fox, Gary and Angie Francart. The farm is a non-profit, off track thoroughbred rescue so the financial situation is already very difficult. His medical expenses will skyrocket into the thousands so anything that you are able to give would be so greatly appreciated! The situation is very urgent as he will need care for days to come so any contributions would be amazing!
