We are a group of friends who are coming together to help establish this GoFundMe campaign for our dearest Binky who is a childhood friend for us all since our elementary years in the Philippines is enduring some difficult times with a journey that will not get easier anytime soon.
Binky was diagnosed with breast cancer for which she underwent a mastectomy procedure. This for obvious reasons disrupted her career, and resulted in her having to seek ongoing treatment for her illness.
Late last year Binky was diagnosed with lung cancer, a prognosis which may have metastasized from the breast. As a means of desperation her family has come to the US to seek further hope, and medical intervention. She is currently getting treatment at the University of California at Irvine.
Being a single mother to a 12 year old, and having endured so many of lifes challenges already without letting them get the best of her we know Binky is stronger than her illness. From losing her father at an early age, and dedicating her life to ensure the upbringing of her siblings which meant putting all seven of them before her. Nonetheless, she never let this get the best of her. It is our fervent wish that she be treated of her illness, and with the current financial distress her family is undergoing owing to her condition we deem it best to seek your assistance and kindest consideration, to be able to reach out to millions out there who may be willing to spare some amount to help defray her medical expenses.
We have faith she will be healed given proper medical care. We have faith that there are so many kindhearted souls out there willing to help. We have faith she will still live a long life with her daughter and family and friends whose lives she continuously touches even up to this day, despite her illness.
