Binders for Transguys in Need

Transgender chest surgery is expensive and often times not covered by insurance. For this reason, many transguys cannot afford this medical procedure. An alternative to surgery, or to at least help someone “pass” (as a man) before surgery, is to bind . Binding can result in feeling more gender euphoric, or in the right body as a it helps to hide or reduce the visibility of breasts. 

Coming from a situation in which I have lots of support and love, my transition has not been nearly as hard as it could be. Knowing that I am in a fortunate situation with supportive family and friends, I want to do what I can to ease someone else’s transition. I have decided to pay for a binder each month for a transman in need. Join me in supporting my fellow transmen with a simple donation.

Give donating a thought. Maybe it means skipping out on a concert this month or buying one less coffee on a certain day. Binders cost $30 and many transguys do not have enough money to buy even one. Whether it is paying for a full binder or just a portion, anything really will help a dude in need.

As of now, I have been reaching out to Female To Male Reddit users to find candidates for my binder giveaway. Many of the transmen who have already reached out to me need to pass for their own safety.

Regardless of funding from others, I will be donating one binder per month. I would love for others to join me in this! Help a guy feel more in his body by giving just a little bit!
