Replace BC's stolen gear

On July 14, Jillian and I packed in my car and headed to Chicago for a nice weekend vacation. We arrived in Chicago, parked on a busy street, and had lunch... we returned to find a busted window, a car full of broken glass, and... found that a bunch of our stuff had been stolen.
Jillian's backpack, with all of her clothes and supplies for the weekend was gone. Her glasses and contacts, her makeup, her underwear... it was all gone, and someone probably just tossed it in a dumpster. My camera bag, with some very expensive equipment was also missing... a Canon 7D, multiple lens, extra batteries, extra memory cards... all gone.
On the plus side - we're fine! We were in no way hurt or injured - we even managed to have a great weekend - we're just trying to forget that eventually we have to come back to real life... we're going to be returning to Grand Rapids in a car with the back window taped up, and hauling a lot less cargo.

I didn't realize it, but my car insurance does not cover this... it is "full coverage", but theft is not covered in its fullness. Lame.
I started pricing out some of the stuff that I lost, and found myself very bummed - I don't quite have enough $$$ to just go replacing any of that gear on my own! But, with your help, and some savings that I have, I'm dreaming of upgrading to an even better rig than the one that I lost!
Anything you can give would be super helpful!
