Billboards Against the NJ Bear Hunt

Would you like to see this billboard in as many places possible in New Jersey? If so, would you please help us pay for them?

Since 2000, BEAR (Bear Education And Resource) has influenced three governors to stop the hunts. But this year, under Governor Christie, the state has added to the cruelty... by making the hunt longer and by adding bow and arrow. For the sake of our bears, we need to spread the word. But first we need your support. Can you please help?

Bowhunting is one of the cruelest ways to kill, with an extremely high wounding rate. Over half of the bears who are shot will never be found, and they will suffer for hours, days, or even weeks with arrows in them. And even cubs are not safe, because in New Jersey, trophy hunters also kill cubs for sport.

We promise you, that all of our volunteers are working hard for our bears. But we need you now. Please help give our bears a voice, by helping to pay for the billboards. The more people who know what is happening, the better chance we have of getting the hunt banned permanantly.

We all thank you so much and our bears thank you.

Would you like to see these billboards in as many places possible in New Jersey? If so, would you please help us pay for them?

We know that working to protect our beloved bears has been difficult under Governor Christie.

But remember that since 2000, BEAR Group (Bear Education And Resource) influenced three governors to stop eight hunts.

And Christie will be out of office soon. When a new governor comes into office, bear momentum must be high.

We have vowed that we will NEVER stop fighting to protect our bears. Many of us have made it our life's work, to permanently ban the black bear trophy hunt in New Jersey.

But we can't do it without everyone's support. For the sake of our bears, we need your help today, to continue to spread the word to the public about how cruel the hunts are. And to let New Jersey decision makers know that we are NOT going away till this hunt is permanently banned.

Many of you know, as of last year, hunters may use bow and arrow.

We promise you, that all of our volunteers are working as hard as they can for our bears. But we need you now. Please help us give our bears a voice, by helping to pay for these billboards. The more people who know what is happening, the sooner we will have this hunt banned...forever.

Please help our bears today.

We thank you so much and our bears thank you.
