Bill Gosling

On April 6th, our friend Bill Gosling left us suddenly and far too early. He left a young family in need of support to transition to a life without him. Bill’s partner, Michaela is a PHD student at York University and will now be the sole supporter for herself and Rowan. Following his dad’s love of music, Bill’s eldest son Liam is making his way through the industry as an accomplished trumpet player - wasn't it only yesterday he was playing in the Central band! Rowan has left behind his entire life in Stratford and is transitioning to living full time in Toronto.
I am starting this fund to help the family manage the unexpected costs that come with an unexpected death, and which will allow them some space to mourn in peace.
Bill would do anything for his family. His pride in his sons and his love for Michaela were beyond boundaries. The fun times and laughter they provided for many of us during the years was immeasurable.
I don't know really even what to say about Bill here. If you are reading this you know if his crazy grin, his consistently positive attitude, his love of all music and his support of Canadian artists, his wry sense of humour, his open heart, the wonderful chats you probably had with him over a pint, his love of travel, his generosity and most of all his love for his family.
Please help in supporting Michaela, Liam and Rowan through this transition.
