Bike Party is about community, doing something out of the ordinary, changing expectations, getting people out of their normal comfort zones, bringing people together to create something really fun & unique. We're not just about making an positive impact upon participants, but also through the communities we roll through & all the new friends we meet along the way.

What We Do
We invite cyclists of all stripes (we always pick up runners, boarders & others along the way too!) to meet up with us, deck out their bikes with as many LED's, glow stuff & blinkie lights as possible, hit 'play' on a synchronized playlist (as best as we can manage) & then we roll around town checking out great spots in the city & go on a communal adventure.

The Reality of Making Bike Party Happen
Bike Party always has & will be a free event to take part in, but putting it together involves real work, real costs, real dedication & real effort. Make no mistake, it's a large undertaking. Everyone involved does it for the love of being part of it, but there's no way to do this without incurring costs. Bike Party Toronto is entirely self funded & receives no corporate sponsorship or public funding. From putting together 5+ hour mixes, tailored audio mastering, ride marshal support, purchasing safety equipment, pre-scouting & route mapping, photography & videography projects, art projects, coordination, meetings, light giveaways & more, we feel that as a community we can all support & keep this thing alive & thriving if we all pitch in. Nothing happens for free forever, but with a bit of effort, we can all make a huge difference.
We've seen other events, organizations & organizers fall apart due to lack of resources. The reality is that we have to support each other in order to keep the fun alive. With your help, we can fund rides that so many of us can take part in & enjoy. Every ride, we see a stream of smiling faces from people that watch us as we roll through their neighborhoods. Whether you're riding with us or not, we're here to positively impact your day & spread some fun & cheer in the city! If you've been on one of our rides, you know why it's so special & you'll recognize those moments where you can't help but smile in the very pit of your stomach. Was that memory, was that moment worth the price of a coffee, a few drinks, the cost of lunch, a movie in a theater, a dinner date, maybe more?

We're grateful to all those that put their hand in their pocket in the past. We're grateful to everyone that has helped marshal, organize, support or participated in this ride. We're grateful to you for making any donation you can. We're grateful if you can share this post & cause with friends, your network, businesses & other interested bodies. We've set a very modest goal for starters that doesn't actually cover the costs of supporting the event in it's entirety, but it's a start.
Most of all, thank you to all for participating in Bike Party & helping make it the truly magical event it is. Toronto is pretty cool, but events like this definitely make it better! Thank you for being part of it!
