Courage, Resilience, Strength, Grace.  Every parent prays for children that reflect these characteristics.  We are blessed to have this person as a contributing part of our small community.   AnnaLee is courage, resilience, strength and grace personified--in sneakers!

AnnaLee, or "Big Ann"  is an undeniable force!

She has been through 14 extensive, life-threatening spinal surgeries during her junior and senior years at Eastern High School in Ada, Michigan, and after graduation. She was miraculously able to recover from the second surgery and play basketball her senior year. But ever sense that recovery it’s only been down hill. 

July, of 2014, the debiliating symptoms returned without warning.  Threatening to sideline AnnaLee once again--Anna was due to report to Alma College that fall to pursue a career in pre-med and play women’s basketball. Encouragingly, Anna is a fighter and doesn't know the meaning of "quit".

Understandably, the family has already encumbered enormous medical expenses and could use community support as they continue their national search for medical assistance.

We are proudly a community--when one of us is suffering, we all suffer.  Let's rally around this precious soul and her family as they travel this challenging road.
