Free Stay! Help Open Doors ~ Bhoja Eco Retreat
We thought we could do this on our own; but we truly need your help to ‘Open the Doors to Bhoja Eco Awareness Retreat!’ As a thank you, we’ll offer a complimentary night’s stay.*
Tim & I took the leap of faith. Sold our home. Moved ourselves and our rescued dogs from the US to Australia.
We’ve purchased some beautiful land on the Far South Coast, in Kiah, NSW, Australia, and have slowly begun creating Bhoja Eco Awareness Retreat. Our intention is to promote the healing of the planet, and protection of animals, by providing opportunities for people to reconnect with nature and their own natural intelligence ~To Become Aware. 
Bhoja is absolutely committed to our mission. We’ve invested personal funds of over $100,000, to get this far. We’ve been successful in paying for the land, relocation, 3 shipping containers, materials, equipment, trainings, and certifications. We’re creating revenue to further the cause a bit at a time. 
To make the most of our resources, we’re doing the work ourselves. All the while we’re learning as we grow, so we can share and inspire others to become aware of the effects of their choices.
Everything was moving along when our Norman, (below left) succumbed to progressive health issues. A few months later we found ourselves treating Herschel’s (below right) thyroid cancer. As any pet owner can attest, illnesses and injuries are emotionally and financially draining.
18 months in...just when we were about to launch our mobile Stand Up Paddle Board Tours, Yoga, Floating Meditations, and Day Retreats ~ another setback. I broke a bone in my foot ~ in two places! After a few months of immobilisation...two blood clots were discovered. The chain of illness and injury has brought our progress to a halt.
We are reaching out to you, our Community for help. 
My proposal is this:
Every donation over $150 earns a complimentary nights stay with us to experience Bhoja Eco Awareness Retreat...But we need to get the Doors Open First!
DONATIONS WILL GO TOWARDS:
*Purchase of additional shipping containers for conversion into modular guest cottages, and a modular reception/meeting area
*Relocation of containers onto property & commencing buildout
*Outfitting each modular unit with individual rain catchement & greywater recyling
*Composting toilets
*Independent solar systems
*Creating and incorporating a hot water system
*Improving and increasing greenhouse and gardens
*Developing website, reservation system and increasing online price

Bhoja is a Sanskrit term. One of the meanings ~ ‘To live a life of joy’. At Bhoja we encourage finding joy through immersions in Nature, Yoga on Land and on Water, Gentle Stand Up Paddleboard River Tours, Floating Meditations, Holding Space for Students and Teachers to exchange Wisdom, and Leading by Sustainable Example.
