Help Shauna's Cancer Recovery

I am a local writer and poet and raised my children in Santa Cruz, and also cared for my wonderful mother who had cancer. A large lump appeared in my groin, which turned out to be melanoma. Two surgeries later, after a lymph node dissection, I am ready for the clinical trials, which are 90 miles away, every 3 weeks, for a year. I have lymphedema in my right leg, which requires swimming for compression of swelling.
I need money for gas/parking when I go for infusions, alternative healing treatments, vitamins & supplements, organic food, and manual lymph drainage massage. I could also use help to pay bills as I am not working. I would be grateful for whatever amounts you could contribute.
I start treatment next week. It would mean a lot to me to not have to worry while I am recovering.
