Hello everyone, my name is Frank Ur and I am the Chief of the Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company for the last 9 years. We survive completely on donations from our small community, however our costs have now become more than we bring in because of many projects we must complete to make our building functional. The actual building we use is over 100 years old, yes 100. Our bays are taken care of by our commissioners, but we are responsible for the building and property itself. We have severe roof leak which is estimated at 14,000, our bathrooms leak, toilets run, tiles are 25 years old, ceiling that leaks, and to remodel these are 25,000. The other important thing is our parking lot, which in sections are sinking in. It needs completely repaved, which estimates have come in as high as 15000. I hate watching these things happen to our firehouse over the past 17 years because it is killing morale and to be honest doesn't help us draw new members or possible hall rentals. I have looked into grants, approached our town, and tried large fundraisers, but there is no way to in our community to raise such a figure. I appreciate anything you can donate to us and you are more than welcome to come visit us for a tour so I can show you in person. Thank you for your time and thoughts.
