Beyond Foster Care Fund

Hello, my name is Noel Anaya.

I’ve been in the California Foster Care System since I was a little over a year old. Recently I turned 21, and I aged out of foster care. I petitioned the court before my final hearing in the system, to request rare access for Youth Radio to record and photograph the proceeding.

My Youth Radio story aired Wednesday January 11th, broadcast nationally on NPR’s All Things Considered.

There has been an overwhelming response that has come from this story, including many generous offers to support me to reach my educational and professional goals.  For those of you who want to donate directly to me, I have set up this GoFundME.
