Bethany's Fight for Her Life

Donation protected
Bethany Wing is a friend to so many people

She is a sister
A daughter
A loved one
...
most importantly, above all else, a Mother to two girls who love her and need her.

She is also someone that very much needs your help.

Bethany has been disabled by Lyme Disease, but after 6 years of failed treatments, there is new hope.
There are people with the same disabilities from Lyme Disease who are being treated successfully!

The last treatment available to Bethany is not covered by insurance and is not available in the United States.

Every other treatment has been tried and failed.

Anyone who knows Bethany, knows two things:
She will give until she has nothing left to give.
And that letting Lyme (and its co-infections) kill her is not the option she will choose.

We all have the chance right now to help someone who has so much left to give.  Bethany just needs our help.

When you see her you may think she looks great...
That is how she fights back.
That is how she protects her daughters and her friends from having to worry about how sick she is.

Bethany doesn't want you to feel bad for her.
She doesn't want you to worry about her.
She does not want to ask for help.

But we do worry...

and now We Have The Chance To Help Bethany Get The Last Treatment Available To Her

The treatment center is The Klinik St. George Hospital in Bad-Aibling, Germany.
St. George hospital has been treating people with the same conditions as Bethany with success

People who have gone to their facility in wheelchairs are now able to walk and live normal lives.

This Is What We Want For Bethany
This treatment provides hope for Bethany to live a life without constant pain and without disability.

But she needs our help to fund it

If you're not familiar with Lyme Disease, in the 1970s and 80's in New England there was an epidemic of children who were diagnosed with "juvenile arthritis".

Through more research it was discovered that most of these children had the same bacterial infection.

Back then infections spread faster than information.
Many children were not ever properly diagnosed.
The bacteria were left alone to spread throughout the body and colonize.
Once it was able to bore into the bone marrow, the organs and brains of those infected, traditional treatments were no longer able to help.

That is what happened to Bethany.

6 years ago Bethany began to show severe neurological and cardiac effects caused by the infection.  She has been hospitalized numerous times since then and the effects have only gotten worse.
All treatments have failed.
She has become more disabled with each failed treatment, she is in constant pain and can not work.

Thankfully The Klinik St. George Hospital offers hope to recovery.
