Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

1 in 3 women experience domestic abuse at some point in their life; many of them have children who are greatly affected by the violence as well. Beta Theta Pi of Saint Louis University finds this to be unacceptable and wants to address it. Again in 2017, Beta will be hosting "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" to not only spread awareness of this injustice but also to raise money for the Women's Safe House, an organization that supports victims of domestic violence and their children. On April 23rd, the men of Beta Theta Pi, along with the campus as a whole, will walk a mile in high heals to symbolize the importance of empathy. This walk will be followed by a speaker, live music, and food. Participation is highly encouraged.
Please donate to help these women educate and empower themselves through the services of The Women's Safe House, and allow them to enrich the lives of their children. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!
