Dear Family and Friends;
The Krane family needs your help.
As many of you may have heard, our dear Bernie passed away on the morning of May 19th from a sudden heart attack.
Bernie gave and gave to others but when it came to his own finances, it is now apparent that he made some poor decisions.
We know Bernie's choices were based out of love to protect and help his family, but his passing leaves them with mounting medical and living expenses and a stark reality that they were not prepared to handle.
Danielle, his daughter, has Multiple Sclerosis and his loving wife, Paige, has been diagnosed with an aggressive blood cancer. Both of these are incredibly expensive to treat in today's medical insurance/prescription drug world (costing upwards of 10k a month).
Paige and Danielle would not reach out for help unless this was a last resort; but with no savings and the likely loss of their home, they look to friends and the community to give them a lift when they need it most.
Whatever Bernie undertook, he did with passion, humor and so much joy. He was most definitely a people person! For 30 years he worked in sales for CBS/Sony Music. Soon after retiring, Bernie found the most rewarding time of his life as a volunteer for the Bellevue, Washington Police Department where he worked up until his death for almost 23 years.
This is an extremely sad time for the Krane family. Your love and support is so appreciated.
