Benzodiazepine Advocate Awareness

In December 2016 I sent myself into Benzodiazepine Withdrawal to rid myself of the dependency I had developed in taking them for six years. The four months prior to doing I had spoken with my primary physician about getting off only to discover that unlike opiates benzodiazepine awareness is uncommon. Reason for this gofundme campaign is to contribute towards my efforts in doing as much as I possibly can in bringing awareness to this overly prescribed under-informed class of medication that has altered so many lives.
