On Saturday, October 29th, Benine Timothee was caught in a drive-by shooting and killed while walking to the community center in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Benine, 36, along with two of her seven children, ages 12 and 13, moved to the United States just three months ago. In the midst of transitioning to a new country and what would hope to be a better life, the family is completely devasated by this senseless act of violence.
Benine's husband works two low-paying jobs in order to support the family, but they are still struggling to pay all of their expenses. Paying for a funeral and burial is beyond their reach. The family would be most grateful for anything you are willing to give.
The family is planning the funeral this week, so an immediate response is important.
