Belize please: Therapy Abroad Trip

Hi everyone!
I currently am a Speech Sciences major and I plan to pursue a career as a Speech Language Pathologist, specifically towards children with speech impediments and developmental disabilities.
I have been accepted to a Therapy Abroad program based on my academic record, references, and demonstrated interest in giving back and learning about leadership. I’m very excited about this opportunity. The cost of tuition is higher than I can afford on my own, so I’m asking for your help to send me to Belize please!
Therapy Abroad is a summer two-week program intended for undergraduate students interested in speech-language pathology or audiology. I’ll be attending the Communication Sciences & Disorders Program in Belize, Central America. We would have the opportunity to work alongside a professional to help deliver materials such as Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), evaluate children with Oral Motor Impairments, and gain experience with Dysphagia and VitalStim. Through readings, workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities, I hope to learn all about a new culture and develop some new skills. We would gain a greater understanding of different cultures and have the chance to take part in adventure activities as well.
Asking for help was an option that I had not considered initially and it is difficult for me to do. I had spread the word about the program to as many schools around Vancouver as possible to try and lower costs, but the all-inclusive tuition is still outside of my financial abilities. I am determined to go, even if it might cost an arm or a leg (hopefully not!). I would really appreciate support to help fund this trip. :)
