Belinda Berry Medical Expenses

Hello all,

Due to the financial burden, on top of other things, that cancer has created for my mother (Belinda), my brother (Jeremiah) and I have decided to set this up to help relieve just one of the many stressors that she is going through right now. She and her husband, Dan Berry, were planning on selling their current home in order to ease some of the financial burden that this has created but due to the nature of her condition they have been unable to do so.

Many of you know all that my mother has been through throughout her life medically so I will keep it recent.

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer early this year (2019). Despite having other medical conditions up to this point she was working hard and accomplishing more than what many would have expected going through what she has gone through. In April of 2019, she would begin the first phase in the battle against breast cancer through a double mastectomy. This would then be a couple months long recovery which would mean no working during this time frame.

The next phase of the process would be reconstructive surgery which occurred in July of 2019. This part of the process will include 2-3 more surgeries on top of the reconstructive. Just recently she has had complications that may result in additional and unexpected surgery prolonging the process. She unfortunately is diabetic so this will prolong the process even more.

Again my brother and I are are just trying ease some of her worries and financial burden from everything she has gone through. Despite her medical conditions both past and present she has always provided my brother and I the best life possible. We know that she would do anything within her limitations for her friends, family, dogs (for those of you that know her), and even a stranger. Keep her in your prayers as always.
