All funds are needed to provide first months rent, last months rent, deposit and help us keep meet our monthly financial needs, to keep our doors open for a year to build a self sustaining healing collective.
What started as a donation-based, Monday night meditation group 2 years ago, quickly evolved into co-founders Frankie S. and Corey M. opening a meditation and healing studio in the heart of Orange County, California. Behind the Lids (BTL) opened their doors in Costa Mesa in March 2019 with the mission to embrace the community and offer a safe space for connection through the collective.
Behind the Lids offers classes for various meditation practices; kundalini yoga, cocoa ceremonies, ecstatic dance, Shamanic drum journeys, reiki and energy healing, mediumship workshops, sounds baths, and breathwork classes. BTL offers drop-in classes, memberships and donation-based classes. The co-founders are committed to their goal of reaching the ENTIRE community with the healing power of mindful awareness and connection with others.
Testimonials from BTL members state that the studio offers a serene healing space for those who wish to nurture a deeper connection to self. BTL is a platform for students to achieve stillness, enter into a space of consciousness and move in the direction of wholeness and peace.
Within 5 months from the time of opening BTL grew to serve approximately 300 people per one month. Despite massive efforts and huge interest within the community, BTL co-founders received notice that they had to shut their doors due to financial issues

Witnessing the positive impact BTL has made within the community, the co-founders are now more determined than ever to continue with their mission of helping others awaken to their souls’ purpose. In order for this to happen, BTL needs your help to meet their goal of raising $55k.
