Send the Becerras to China

Our story began 4 years ago when we met during a trip to China with a group from college. These past 4 years have been a whirlwind of falling in love, getting married, moving to California, and having our sweet baby, Rosy. During this time we have held onto the dream of going back to China for a longer period of time to teach English and to reconnect with the friends we made in 2011, and we are finally going! We are being interviewed by a private elementary school in Chongqing, China and are very excited for this adventure! We should find out soon exactly where we will be living and working!

We have already invested $2000 into this trip for program fees, visas, background checks and TEFL courses. We still have a little ways to go to cover the rest of the cost (it is expensive to go to China!) and we will continue to work towards meeting our goal of $3000. Any help from our friends and family would be a blessing  and will go towards covering the remainder of our program fee, our flights, and our TEFL courses which will make us qualified English teachers.

We appreciate the support of our family and friends as we bring our dream of returning to China into fruition. We cannot wait to share the country we fell in love with with our sweet daughter!
