Hello! My name is Rosa Pulido and I am making this page for my mother Beatriz Ornelas (58 yrs old and single mother of 4), who a few days ago was diagnose with a (GLIOBASTOMA MULTIFORME) by the doctors at the Northwestern Medicine Central Dupage Hospital. For those that don't know what a Gliobastoma is here is the link: https://www.google.com/webhp?source=search_app#q=glioblastoma+multiforme it is Brain Cancer a 5cm TUMOR in my mothers brain that left her blind from from her left eye and almost no vision at all from her right eye.
This Tumor has grown over the years without my mother noticing, except for those strong headaches and lost of her vision and almost a paralysis of some of her body. As the drs. seen the scans and MRI's they decided my mother needed a surgery as soon as possible to remove the tumor that was growing fast and leaving no space for my mother's brain. It is so hard to find out that the woman who brought you to this world has been diagnose with Cancer, my sisters Angeles, Adriana, Ana and I we're completely heart broken, speechless and miserables to know that the only person that has worked day and night to bring food to the table has to go thru a situation like this!!!
My mother is a very hard working woman and a warrior I can say that from the bottom of my heart she was and always has been our #1 Mom our WONDER WOMAN, our pillar... I can spend more time describing my mother but i wont be able to since this is a fund raiser page.
My mother, sisters and I will be so grateful to receive any kind of help what ever donation will be fully accepted, since my mother ofcourse is unable to work any more along with my youngest sister Ana that she will be the one taking care of my mother.
Whatever funds we get they will be used towards any bills, rent, etc... as she might need a lot of support such as emotional, economical and spiritual. Just should you all know, that she will still need to go thru some Chemotherapy and radiations are needed to help control the growth 10% of the tumor left behind in her brain close to her motoractivity and affected brain tissue. Also the tumor is growing onto the bridge of her brain reaching outinto left side that connects both sides of the brain. This is the reason i created this page.
