Beatrice Mini Golf Rebuild
Donation protected
On June 16, 2017 a major storm hit Beatrice Nebraska. The next morning, we received a phone call from the police department saying that we needed to come down as soon as we could because we received major damage. The roof of our clubhouse was blown off, landed upside down in the tree between hole 1 and 2, and then fell to the ground. Huge limbs had been blown down from our other trees which are between 50 and 100 years old. These trees have provided shade from the summer sun for our customers. The building was damaged from the roof flying off, causing cracks in the cement structure. Chunks of cement were also broken off. We have no electricity since the wires came from the pole through the roof and into the building.
Our best option is to knock down the existing structure and replace the clubhouse, complete with a new snack shed so that we can supply our customers with shave ice and frozen yogurt. We will also need to call a tree expert to see about trimming the existing trees so that they are safe for our customers.
We are a small mom and pop business with not a lot of money for the rebuild. Most of the money we make is invested back into the course for improvements. We value our customers and they value the Family Friendly Fun that our course provides for them. They want to see us up and running as soon as we can be.

Thank you so much!!!!!
