Hello all. Many of you know my mother, Tamara, and how amazing she is but for those that don't let me tell you a bit about her.
My Mom is one of the strongest people I know. She has had many battles throughout her life but always comes out on top. She is the kind of person who would instantly drop what she is doing to help someone out. She has always put others above herself, a truly selfless person.
Being like this her entire life has made it hard for her to, for once, put herself first and get through this next battle in her life.
Tamara was diagnosed with cancer after a string of strokes that doctors could not figure out the cause. She had jumped from hospital to hospital until we finally landed with her amazing team in Toronto.
Having to travel away from home for weeks at a time for diagnosis, and now every week for treatment, has been hard on her and my younger brother and sister. While she is doing amazing with her treatments that are almost complete there is still a huge behind-the-scenes cost to cancer.
We are hoping to help her out with these costs through the generosity of friends, family, and any donors reading who are kind enough to donate. The money will all go straight to her and be used to help cover the costs of medicine for her ongoing health, cover debt from the costs of gas, daycare, babysitting, and all the other expenses that have come with this journey.
She would never ask for help from anyone which is why I'm starting this campaign on her behalf. We really appreciate any help that anyone can give and I know she will too.
