Thomas Fire

The Thomas(Papanickolas) Family are personal friends of the Aharts and known them for many years. Our kids have grown up together and go to the same schools. They had a home fire late last night. Thankfully everyone one including the animals got out safe. Thankfully the heros (firefighters) saved the shell of the home but everything inside not so much.....just the clothes on their back. This is one of the things that I think of and is on my mind. I was devastated walking through the piles of melted, charred, wet belongings and memories with Denise and was crying the whole time. I felt like a big ol' baby when I had this amazing, strong, beautiful lady right next to me picking stuff up and saying oh this is "that." Denise and Russ have the best kids ever and are truly one of the best couples I know. They are going to be living in a hotel for maybe 10 months while their dream home is being redone. If you can help in this time of need it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
