Help Kathy's Girls

This is Katherine. She is a sister, mother, daughter, auntie, girlfriend, school teacher, cousin, niece, granddaughter, & friend. 
My sister Katherine was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and after treatment and a double mastectomy went into remission. On Jan 21, 2019 Kathy was diagnosed with cancer in her lymph nodes and it metastasized into bone cancer. Katherine and her medical doctors began treatment right away with radiation, chemotherapy and several pain medications.
Unfortunately this debilitating disease has taken a toll on her ability to perform simple tasks like cooking, walking or driving. Katherine is a middle school special education teacher. She has not been able to be there for her students this semester, and that has also been emotionally difficult for her.

Her cancer is aggressive and now we are trying to help her continue treatment and help keep her life in order because she is facing an uphill battle. We will not give up. She will not give up. The funds we are asking for will pay for additional treatments that medical insurance doesn't cover and will pay her accumulating bills.  She only gets half of her paycheck since she cannot go to work. This has put a strain on her as a single mother of 3 daughters.
Katherine is a young, vibrant, go getter. 
Those of you that know my sister, know that she is a giver, a doer and has always wanted to help others. We all need help sometimes and our family wants to do everything possible to help save her from this awful disease, so we are asking for help for her.  Katherine is currently in the hospital and the next steps in her care will require us to use these funds immediately.
