BayGanda Sewing Camp 2017

Donation protected
10 years ago I started a journey towards my lifes work, teaching a skill that had been given to me as a young girl. Sew What sewing camp was started out of a need to provide a cool Summer program to girls in the BayArea & Uganda.  These relationships have established life long friendships and a desire to empower the young girls of Uganda. Sewing had become my lifeskill, one that supported my family.
Now my family and I are on our way to Uganda for our 3rd annual BayGanda sewing camp.
I knew first hand that sewing was the very thing that could change the course of these girls lives. Help us continue the work we have started in Uganda.

In 2013 I was able to raise funds to purchase 3 sewing machines, fabric and notions for Uganda.
2015 you helped me raise $5000.00 for 4 more machines, notions and gifts for the girls.
2017 we are planning on another successful trip and the conclusion of our documentary.
Our documentary was selected this year for the Queens, NY Film Festival, Black Hollywood Film Festival and Sanfrancisco Black Film Festival .

After 10 years this is what I have been called to do, but I need your help partner with me to empower a generation of young women; BayGanda style.
Every young girl wants to feel special and loved!!!
