Battle Alongside Brian Gumpert

In January 2019 Brian was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma, a very deadly form of cancer.  Until recently, this was considered nearly impossible to treat.  Fortunately,  because of the great progress that has been made in treating this type of cancer, Brian is going to fight this with everything he's got. He is in great hands at the Providence Cancer Institute Franz Clinic.  They have started Brian on an immunotherapy program that has shown very promising results in many who have the same disease. Much like chemotherapy, Brian's treatment is administered intravenously every three weeks and like chemotherapy, it takes a great toll on the body after each treatment. It works by activating the immune system to fight the cancer, and the treatment also comes with a long list of debilitating side effects.  Brian has been trying to continue work through the side effects but they are too much.  Typically, the side effects of this treatment are accumulative and most likely will affect him more and more as time goes on.  Since Brian is self-employed, this is already having an enormous cost emotionally, physically and financially.

We love Brian a whole lot. Let's help him focus on healing by supporting him through this trying and life-altering time.  He will be on this journey for the better part of 2 years, if not longer.  He needs our support.  Please help if you can.
