Basset Hoarding Crisis Help

Rescue efforts in the Ontario, Canada area are currently underway for 25 dogs. Local rescues have been doing an on-site assessment for the last 48 hrs. The dogs, (20 adults and 5 puppies) were found in the home of a couple that had a medical crisis. Family members that had been denied access to the home previously found the hoarding situation. They immediately contacted the humane society who called in local rescues to help. Rescues from the Ontario area are involved, including Carter’s Forever Rescue & Sanctuary and their partners Ice Foundation K9 Rescue and The Underdog Railroad of Canada and others. The 25 dogs are in need of urgent medical care. In addition, it is anticipated that long term rehabilitation for some of the dogs will be needed. Medical costs alone are projected to exceed 10k.  Please assist us in a any small way you can
