Basic Medical Supplies For Ghana

As some of you know me and Solaya have chosen to visit Ghana as part of a medical elective placement and we are looking to raise money to buy medical supplies to take with us. The sanitation in Ghana is extremely poor and medical supplies are extremely low and sometimes extremely costly for the poor. Unlike us living  here in the UK, who receive free-health care, we sometimes don't realise how lucky we really are. Most of us take the National Health-Service for granted and often complain about waiting times and 'poor-service' and having to wait many days to be seen by your local GP. But here in England, this is all free.
Many people in Ghana have to travel over two hours just to be seen by a doctor and have to pay for it, some families are poor and this can amount to nearly half their monthly earnings. 
Many conditions we treat easily here in the UK  such as: Diabetes, Epilepsy,  Hypertension, and many more. These conditions can lead to fatalities in  developing countries.
By raising some money to take basic medical supplies to Ghana with us such as Blood pressure machines, Bandages, Hand-sanitizer, aprons and stethoscopes. 
Whatever you can afford will be GREATLY appreciated as something as simple as a wound care pack is only 90p and  could potentially save a wound victim from infection.
