BARNABAS CAT SAN DIEGO CA

Donation protected
My husband  Alan White and I adopted Barnabas on an adoption site and found out that he was a purebred Mainecoon and found out who his breeder was at 7yrs old in 2013. When we first go him he HATED MEN and me.  The cat gave me a blackeye and bit and scratched me up so bad we didnt know what to do.  We contacted someone on animal planet and was on TV and fixed his behavior problems.  He is now a loving cuddle bug and has been through so much.  It took this poor cat 5yrs to actually purrr.  No joke.  I wont give up on him.  He is now 12yrs old and for over 2yrs he has had problems trying to urinate.  If a cat cant urinate, they die.  He has pet insurance that runs from August to August of each year and pays $5000.00 a year.  Well as of 2-14-18 he stopped urinating again.  And our bill has reached over $6000.00 and how he needs a surgery to save his life called a PU surgery.  PU stands for perineal urethrostomy, a surgery that can be a life-saver for male cats that experience recurrent urinary blockages.
in which they redirect how he urinates.  The surgery is $6000.00 to $10,000.00 and is a life-saver.   He is currently under the care of his vet Dr Perry Diamond at Clairemont Village Pet Clinic at 3007 -G Clairemont Drive, San Diego CA 92117.  He was admitted into the VCA Animal Hospital at 2317 Hotel Circle South San Diego, CA 92108  as of 2/17/18 he is still there.  Your welcome to call and ask how Barnabas is doing to prove he is still at the VCA animal Hospital.  (619)299-2400. I am asking for anyone who can help save Barnabas.  PU surgerys work and they do save lives.
